Cania Gorge NP
For the July 2012 school holidays we set off for a few days to Rockhampton, and then on the way home we spent 3 nights in the Cania Gorge, at the Cania Gorge Retreat. Great little caravan park; nice and quiet; all the basics available, and right next to the walking tracks within the National Park.
We spent a couple of days doing a few short walks, having a relaxing time. The skies were clear, which made the walking very comfortable, but the nights very chilly. In fact, on the last night, the temperature gauge got down to 0.4 degC. You see the ice on the dual cab in the photos.
We headed home via the Burnett Hwy. We hadn’t been out this way before, and it was a very nice drive.
