Crows Nest CP
For the first weekend of the school holidays we decided to head up to Crows Nest, 30 minutes north of Toowoomba. We left early Friday afternoon and made good time, arriving around 3pm, dodging one of the first thurderstorms of the season.
The Park powered sites and cabins were all full with the Carnival of Flowers starting in Toowomba, but it didn’t bother us, as we wanted non-powered anyway.
The caravan park had plenty of flat open space, and we setup camp with views of the small dam in the park.
Susan had planned to see some exhibitions, so we spent most of Saturday travelling around the district checking out artwork.
Sunday I was up early to try and get some shots with the morning fog.
